The Big Give Christmas Challenge 2020 has begun! From 12pm today (1 December), every donation we receive via our campaign page will be matched for one week. So, for every £1 you donate, we will receive £2! Furthermore, if you’re a small business, your donation will be quadrupled!
Covid-19 has devastatingly exacerbated the issues people in prisons and Young Offenders Institutions face while locked up. We’re aiming to raise £45,000 to deliver our innovative coaching programmes, to enable young people in and on release from prison to overcome the impact of Covid-19, and build brighter futures for themselves.
What happens during the Christmas Challenge?
We have secured £22,500 of funding, but we can only access these funds when we raise the same amount online during the Christmas Challenge.
If you donate as an individual through this page, your contribution will be DOUBLED!
If you donate as a small business here, your contribution will be QUADRUPLED!
How to donate as an individual

“For me the coaching sessions felt therapeutic. It helped me offload some things and gave me the opportunity to tell things to someone from the outside who didn’t know me. It was easier to open up.
My coach would ask me questions to probe me and to have conversations that I needed to get off my chest. I was holding it in for so long. Coaching felt good, much better. My head had been all over the place and I wanted to get my head right. I had so much stress going on and I didn’t talk to anyone about it.
During coaching we spoke about family, how to be there for my little ones, what I want to do when I get out and more. We also spoke about opening a business as I want to be a barber. The Hero’s Journey™ has helped me to focus more on my goals and to make my goals clearer. So, I now know what I want. I now think more about things before making decisions.
Where I feel coaching helps because you’re not being given the answers but asked questions to find the answers yourself. The Hero’s Journey™ has made me more determined to go for my goals. It has changed my thought process as before it was irrational and now it is a more well thought out process.”
