Spark Inside is delighted to have won the HCL Technologies “Goodwill Champions: The Wave Makers” award for our prison coaching programmes, presented at the World Economic Forum’s 49th Annual Meeting in Davos.
HCL’s award recognises the positive impact our life coaching programme has on young people in prison and it’s benefits for society. Hero’s Journey, our life coaching programme for under 25s, has been proven to lower the risk of violence in prison and reoffending on release.
On accepting the award, our Founder and CEO, Baillie Aaron said:
“It was an honour to be recognised by HCL Technologies at Davos for our transformational work in prisons. We are confident that this is the beginning of an exciting journey together of creating more impact in the world.”
The Executive Director & CEO of HCL Corporation and Vice Chairperson of HCL Technologies, Roshni Nadar Malhotra said:
“These honourable organisations exemplify the positive force of change that the world needs, and we are honoured to commend them for their achievements.”
HCL technologies is a leading global technology company that have established the awards as part of their philanthropic commitment. Each awardee was chosen because of their unique contributions to society, and their fit with HCL’s values.
