On 1st December 2020 we entered our third Big Give Christmas Challenge fundraising campaign, and for the first time we surpassed our target and raised £57,793!
We took part in this match-funding campaign, which doubled our supporters’ donations, to raise funds to help young people in and on release from prison to build brighter futures for themselves. Covid-19 has devastatingly exacerbated the issues people in prisons and Young Offenders Institutions face while locked up. Our interventions are proven to improve decision-making, empathy, resilience, future outlook and wellbeing, which are critical in recovering from the impact of the pandemic.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the campaign. Each and every donation will help make a difference to the lives of those living and working in prison, and empower people to take control of their lives.

Our CEO Vicki Cardwell said:
We are thrilled with the support we have been given and we want to say a huge thank you to everybody that donated. Young people in prison are paying a high price during this coronavirus lockdown. As the nation eases out of lockdown, prisoners must not remain out of sight and out of mind. Interventions like our coaching programmes, and our advocacy work, are crucial to restoring hope and rehabilitation in our prisons. Thanks to your donations, we can continue to provide innovative and flexible support to those who need it the most.
